Words Heal Me: A 7-Day Gentle Journey”
Audio Script**
(Soft breath… a few seconds of silence)
Hello, dear one.
Welcome to this gentle practice.
You have arrived here with a willingness to be kind to yourself,
and that already matters more than you know.
This practice guides you through the essence of the seven days
of the “Words Heal Me” journey.
You don’t have to remember every step.
You only need to soften…
to breathe…
and to let these words meet you where you are.
(3-second pause)
Let’s begin by taking a slow, easy breath.
In through the nose…
and out through the mouth.
One more time…
in…
and out.
(5-second pause)
Day 1 — Meeting Myself Kindly
As we begin, place a hand gently on your heart or belly.
Feel your own warmth.
Feel the weight of your body being supported.
You don’t need to try to relax —
just let the words come to you softly.
Repeat after me in your mind…
“I’m here with you.”
Let the phrase rest in your body.
Not forcing, not fixing,
just meeting yourself kindly.
“I’m here with you.”
(8-second silence)
Day 2 — Naming What’s Here
Now, notice whatever you are feeling in this moment.
Maybe there is calm.
Maybe there is tension, or heaviness,
or nothing at all.
See if one gentle phrase can name your experience:
“There is ______ here.”
There is tiredness here.
There is anxiety here.
There is numbness here.
You don’t need the perfect word —
only the honest one.
(6-second pause)
Let the naming bring a little clarity,
a little space.
Day 3 — Offering a Gentle Response
Now respond to what you named
with a tone of softness.
You might say:
“It’s okay to feel this.”
or
“You don’t have to go through this alone.”
Let your breath slow a little as you speak.
Feel the difference inside when your tone is gentle
and your words are caring.
(8-second silence)
Day 4 — Including the Body
Bring awareness slowly into your body.
Down through the legs…
up through the belly…
into the chest…
and the face.
Wherever you feel something —
tightness, warmth, or nothing at all —
place your attention there and whisper gently:
“Body, I’m listening.”
Let the body know you are here.
Let it know you care.
(8-second pause)
Day 5 — Walking With the Difficult Parts
Now think of a part of you that has been hurting.
A scared part…
a lonely part…
a sad or overwhelmed part.
See if you can meet it kindly.
Repeat softly inside:
“This part of me is hurting…
may I meet it kindly.”
No pressure.
No forcing.
Just presence.
(10-second pause)
Day 6 — Letting Love Hold You
Imagine that you are surrounded
by a field of warmth or Love —
whatever that word means to you.
Something larger than your thoughts.
Something gentle.
Let this Love hold your feelings with you.
Repeat softly:
“It all belongs in Love.”
Or:
“I am held in gentleness.”
Breathe in…
and let this warmth surround you.
(10-second pause)
Day 7 — A New Way of Being With Myself
As we close this practice,
feel how you have walked softly through each step.
Kindness…
naming…
gentle response…
body awareness…
holding difficult parts…
letting Love support you.
Bring one final phrase into your heart:
“May I continue to walk gently with myself.”
Say it slowly…
with tenderness…
as a blessing for your path ahead.
(12-second silence)
You have done something brave and beautiful.
Every gentle word you speak to yourself
becomes part of a new inner atmosphere —
one of care…
warmth…
and steady compassion.
Take one last soft breath.
In…
and out…
When you are ready,
you can open your eyes
and carry this gentleness with you.
(Soft closing pause)
