About & Contact
WordsHealMe.com grew out of a real human experience of suffering and the slow discovery that gentle inner words can help.
This page shares a little of that story, what this site stands for, and how you can reach out.
About WordsHealMe.com
WordsHealMe.com is a quiet corner of the internet dedicated to healing self-talk.
It exists for people who live with anxiety, emotional pain, grief, or old wounds —
and who want to learn a kinder way of speaking to themselves.
Here you’ll find:
- Simple explanations of how self-talk affects your nervous system.
- Practical self-talk practices for anxiety, pain, shame, and grief.
- Guided 7-day and 28-day healing journeys.
- Gentle audio meditations with healing phrases.
- Articles and spiritual reflections on suffering, love, and presence.
You do not need to be perfect, spiritual, or “healed” to be here.
This space is for people in process. That includes all of us.
About the creator
My name is Ross. For much of my life, I have known anxiety, fear, and deep inner struggle.
I have also known moments of grace, love, and surprising peace.
Over the years, I discovered that the way I spoke to myself made a real difference.
When my inner voice was harsh, my body tightened and my despair deepened.
When I began to offer gentler words — words of understanding, kindness, and patience — something in me started to soften.
This website is an expression of that discovery.
It brings together mindfulness, nervous system awareness, spiritual reflections, and very simple phrases that you can practice in daily life.
I don’t claim to have all the answers. I am walking this path too.
My hope is that what has helped me might also be a support for you.
What this site stands for
WordsHealMe.com is built on a few simple values:
- Gentleness. Healing asks for tenderness, not force. We move slowly and kindly.
- Honesty. We do not pretend that pain, confusion, or despair are not real. We meet them as they are.
- Compassion. Every person who visits this site is worthy of care, respect, and understanding.
- Curiosity. Instead of judging our reactions, we grow curious about them: what they need, what they’re protecting.
- Inclusivity. People of any or no spiritual background are welcome. Optional spiritual content is clearly marked.
The heart of this work is simple: to help you become a kinder companion to yourself.
How this site can & cannot help
It can be important to be clear about what this website is — and what it is not.
How it can help
- Offer ideas, phrases, and practices to support your daily life.
- Provide gentle perspective on anxiety, grief, and inner struggle.
- Give you structured journeys and meditations to explore at your own pace.
How it cannot help
- It does not replace therapy, medical care, or professional mental health support.
- It cannot offer crisis intervention or emergency services.
- It cannot give personal diagnoses or treatment plans.
If you are in crisis, or if your suffering feels unbearable, please reach out to a local doctor, therapist, or crisis line.
You deserve live, immediate support when things are very hard.
