Audio & Meditations
Sometimes it helps to hear a gentle voice when your own inner voice feels harsh or overwhelmed.
These audios offer healing self-talk, simple breathing, and quiet space, so you can rest inside kinder words.
Let healing words wash over you
You can listen to these recordings when you wake up anxious, when you feel frozen, or when you’re ready to unwind at the end of the day.
There is no wrong way to use them. You might:
- Listen with eyes closed, lying down or sitting comfortably.
- Play them quietly in the background as you rest.
- Pause them when emotions arise and simply feel your body.
- Replay a favourite track as many times as you like.
The purpose is not to force you into feeling “better,” but to surround you with kind words and a calm presence,
especially when you can’t find those words for yourself.
Short calming tracks (3–5 minutes)
These shorter audios are designed for moments when you need quick support — a few minutes to ground, breathe, and remember that you’re not alone.
3-minute grounding phrase
A brief pause to feel your feet, your breath, and one gentle phrase that helps you return to the present moment.
3-minute “I’m here with you”
A simple repetition of supportive words, especially for moments of loneliness or emotional overwhelm.
3-minute softening anxiety
Gentle phrases that acknowledge anxiety while offering warmth and reassurance to your nervous system.
Deeper meditations (10–20 minutes)
These longer meditations invite you into a slower, more spacious kind of listening.
They are helpful when you have a little more time and want to settle more deeply into your body and heart.
10-minute anxiety softening
A gentle journey of naming anxiety, breathing with it, and speaking to it with kindness instead of fear.
15-minute “It all belongs in love”
A meditation that invites all parts of your experience into a wider field of love and acceptance.
20-minute evening letting go practice
Release the day with phrases of forgiveness, rest, and quiet blessing, allowing your body to soften into sleep.

Listening safely when trauma is present
If you have a history of trauma, intense grief, or overwhelming anxiety, it is especially important to listen in a way that feels safe for your system.
- Stay in choice. You can pause or stop a track at any time. There is no requirement to finish.
- Keep your eyes open if closing them feels unsafe or too intense.
- Use grounding. Feel your feet, look around the room, or hold a comforting object as you listen.
- Start small. Begin with shorter tracks and see how your body responds.
- Reach out for support. If listening brings up very strong emotions, consider speaking with a trusted person or professional.
These audios are meant to support you, not replace therapy, medical care, or crisis services.
If you are in immediate danger or feel you might harm yourself, please reach out to local emergency services or a crisis line in your area.

Connect audio with your daily practice
These recordings work beautifully alongside the other parts of WordsHealMe.com. You might:
- Pair an audio with a day from Healing Journeys.
- Use phrases you hear in audio while doing the practices on Self-Talk Practices.
